Service Description

Clinical Supervision: A Neuro-Affirmative & Relational Approach Reflective Practice for Progressive Practitioners I provide clinical supervision for counsellors, therapists, and frontline professionals who are committed to working inclusively and effectively with all nervous systems. My approach is grounded in the 7-Eyed Model, a holistic framework that allows us to look beyond the surface of a client’s "symptoms" and explore the rich, complex dynamics of the therapeutic relationship. Whether you are a generalist practitioner or a fellow neuro-affirmative specialist, my goal is to provide a restorative space where you can deepen your clinical skills, prevent burnout, and refine your advocacy for both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients. How We Work Together: The 7-Eyed Perspective Using this multi-dimensional model, our sessions move through seven distinct lenses to ensure your practice remains safe, ethical, and effective: The Client's World: Exploring the client’s lived experience, sensory profile, and internal narrative. The Interventions: Reflecting on the techniques used—from talk therapy to EMDR or sensory roadmapping. The Client-Therapist Relationship: Analysing the conscious and unconscious dynamics at play (including the "Double Empathy" problem). The Therapist’s Experience: A safe space to explore your own internal responses, counter-transference, and emotional wellbeing. The Supervisory Relationship: Looking at our "here and now" dynamic to mirror and inform your clinical work. The Supervisor’s Perspective: My role in providing specialist clinical insight, neuro-affirmative education, and ethical oversight. The Wider Context: Navigating the systemic barriers our clients face, including EHCP processes, school environments, and medicalised frameworks. A Specialism in Clinical Advocacy Unique to my supervision service is the support I offer for practitioners working within the EHCP and SEND systems. I help supervisees navigate the ethical and practical challenges of being a "clinical advocate," ensuring your reports and recommendations are robust, specific, and impactful without compromising your therapeutic boundaries. The Goal of Our Supervision: Supervision should be more than a "tick-box" requirement; it should be a source of nourishment for your professional soul. By integrating the 7-Eyed Model with a neuro-affirmative lens, we ensure your practice is not only clinically sound but also deeply human, sustainable, and empowering
